Tom VanZandt
tom.vanzandt@metrozet.com

Tom has extensive experience in the development of sensors, instrumentation and advanced metrology techniques for applications in geophysics, seismology, space physics, and optical telecommunications. Tom has successfully commercialized technologies through product development and intellectual property licensing agreements as well as new venture formation and management. Tom earned a BA in physics from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D. in applied physics from Stanford University.

Stephen Manion

Steve brings leadership experience in advanced engineering projects across a broad range of applications. As a product development manager in the private sector, Steve led teams that delivered advanced wingtip metrology systems for an aircraft synthetic aperture radar (SAR) system and a micromachined silicon (MEMS) optical switch system. At NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Steve developed high reliability instrumentation and sensors for both laboratory and space flight experiments. Steve holds a bachelors degree (BEE) in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware, and masters (MSEE) and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois.

Eric Canuteson

Eric has extensive product development and technology management experience in sensors, geophysics, instrumentation, energy, fiber optics and structural monitoring. Eric has led technology innovation and product development efforts that resulted in awards from NASA, the ASAE (American Society of Agricultural Engineers), SENSORS, and the ISA (Instrument Society of America). Eric holds a BA in physics from Colorado College and a PhD from the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics (IGPP) at the University of California, San Diego.
